As some people know I recently ordered a new MacBook Pro, about the same evening Steve Jobs announced it.
Well, after some random delays and the “lots of orders” delay it finally got shipped to me and arrived just this day, but where has it been all that time?
According to UPS:
- requested customs clearance for entry in Apledoorn, Netherlands (this has to be done before the product can be shipped, or so it seems)
- flew from Shanghai, China to Incheon, South Korea
- flew from Incheon to Koeln (Cologne), Germany
- passed clearance and in transit from Koeln to Apeldoorn
- and finally got delivered to me today
The specs? Standard issue MacBook Pro (October 2008) 2.4Ghz accompanied by a DisplayPort-to-DVI adaptor.
